Lakesview Business Park Hersden, Canterbury
Here we will outline the processes that take place in one of our projects from start to finish. A recent project was for a 50 tonne portal frame building at the Lakesview Business Park.
As with many, this project started in our workshops, fabricating the steel structure. All of the work carried out in our workshops is done to the highest standard by fully skilled fabricators.
Here everything is prepared and checked, ready for delivery to the site for construction.
Stage 2 - Site Surveying:
At the site in Hersden we survey the site and set out the bases to which the structure will be fixed.
To do this we can supply made up bolt boxes to be set in by the ground workers.
Alternatively, as in this case we can set the bases out using wooden templates, then drill and resin bond the studs into the foundation.
Now the site is ready to take the columns and then the rest of the building.
Stage 3 - Erecting:
All structural steelwork and cold-rolled erected by qualified personnel using all access equipment, cranes, cherry pickers etc. with safety as number one priority.
